  • Program manage Global Operations Strategy, led Ops Sustainability strategy pivoted on how Operations can fuel growth & innovation. Orchestrated a global cross-functional team of ~100 leaders, experts to formulate long-term strategy.
Portfolio Management & Governance
  • Designed operating model – portfolio framework, definition, execution & governance principles across global, regional, top markets.
  • Identified >$500M net revenue gap for the conventional products portfolio across sub-segments & markets to recover decline in market share.
  • Led India growth strategy for innovative business of a world leading pharma co to increase Field force effectiveness. Performed brand prioritization based on market attractiveness & client’s Right-to-Win, city prioritization based on disease incidence, income distribution & HC infrastructure. Developed 3 year roadmap; recommended (& gained buy-in) improvements in investment allocation, redeployment of FTE (100+ cities) & operational improvements for annual & forecasted business plans
Operations & Business Transformation
  • Led operating model redesign for 3 Global functions (Procurement, Quality Operations, Product Development); signed-off execution plan to drive 2-3x agility, $600M impact over 3 years
  • Led end-to-end Supply Chain transformation for a B2B telecom client across processes in supply chain planning, new product introduction and operational Source to Procure to Pay cycle; conducted As-Is diagnostics, redesigned 100+ business processes with technology needs, KPIs & reporting needs and identified opportunities to improve service lead times by 25%.
  • Led PMO for highest revenue line ($1M/day) of a green-field pharmaceutical manufacturing facility to facilitate planning, monitor progress, identify risks, plan mitigation to drive timely completion & brought down ‘time to scale’ by 20%
Cost Management
  • Led Technology category strategy, classified ~$700M spend into Strategic, Project-based and Business as Usual. Analysed contract performance and link with business impact. Signed off $50M value with an additional potential of $100M in CIO’s objectives.
  • Designed “strategic sourcing program” as part of priority project to CEO of a specialized manufacturer with operations in 13 countries & 35+ sites to achieve overall EBITDA improvement by 2%. Delivered high confidence savings estimates to achieve $40 through category strategy, LCC sourcing, demand consolidation and price-comparison analysis
  • Managed portfolio of 11 suppliers with annual procurement of $100M; responsible for defining strategy for seats assemblies. Achieved $3M recurring annual savings through design and execution of multiple cost reduction strategies incl. demand consolidation, alternate sourcing, localization of raw material and components and workshops for yield improvement & VA/VE
Product Development & Launch
  • Incubated & mobilized global program to redesign product development process, ways of working to accelerate launch & growth of next-gen products; identified levers to reduce Time to Market by 30%.
  • Incubated & mobilized Plastics reduction program; formulated plastic vision (internal), plastic problem definition (weight, distribution, $ impact), performed IP landscape and mobilized innovation routes with agile & focus teams.
  • Turned around performance of a development centre (time, quality & cost) of an auto component manufacturer through detailed diagnostics around current process, organizational capabilities, quality issues, identifying issues and mitigation plan
